Secrets of Success/Growing Details
Light: Indoors they like bright sun but will burn if they are directly in front of a south facing window
Temperature & Humidity: Likes it warm. The ideal is 20℃. They can tolerate drier air then other air plants, but like to be misted every couple of days
Watering: Submerge in water for 15 - 30 min every week during the growing season. In the winter decrease the frequency to every second week. After being submerged drain the plant upside down so as not to rot the crown with sitting water.
Plant Nutrition: To help them reach their full size feed them every month with a liquid kelp fertilizer like Garden Pro's all purpose 10-10-10.
Special Problems: Shriveled leaves, thin papery texture and no new growth usually means it isn't receiving enough water. Solve this problem by using a small hand sprayer to mist the fronds daily or every second day.
